ArleneWow! and Josi Wails are among the area's finest singer/songwriters. Across an acoustic mix of genres, these charismatic storytellers and their instruments deliver the truths of humanity. This evening of songs and stories is a listener's experience - a real ride on life's fictitious journey.

ArleneWow! was nominated the 2008 Performer of the Year by the Hartford Advocate and has been awarded a number of songwriting honors. She has performed for decades with many of the region's best players, and as a solo artist for the last six years. Her most recent CD release The Red is Becoming has received accolades from Gary Allen (The Charlie Daniels Band) and producer Jason Rubal (Dave Matthews, Mary J. Blige). Josi "Wails" Davis is an award-winning songwriter and performer. She enjoyed the premier of her most recent cabaret The Evolution of Love in May, a precursor to an upcoming album by the same name. She recently released an acoustic jazz album String Theory, with Chris Leigh and Mike Frishman, whom she performs with regularly as Davis, Frishman & Leigh and with the band Cloud 9. She is an instructor at String Theory School of Music in Niantic, CT. As a songwriter, she has opened for Bill Cosby and is honored to have shared the stage with the likes of Giacomo Gates, Sloan Wainwright, Josh White, Jr. and Guy Davis. www.josiwails.com
